Does anyone do "Summer Jobs" anymore for "kids"? There are a couple of places in my area but they're mostly restaurants, grocery stores, and ice cream stands.
So what makes this intern? Typically interns are those that are learning or new. Do you want this class of person, or are you just looking for a warm body. You can post a short term position and then list the stuff you want. There may be some older folks that might like to take on the job, have more experience and might enjoy the short position. I think you need to pin down what you want. Usually the term Intern means that the person appointed to the position receives little or no pay with the experience they gain being considered the compensation.
Are you sure that is what you really want to advertise? Respectfully, I would disagree. Traditionally, interns are students looking to get some real world experience in the field they are pursuing in school. Not some random person looking to move from hair dressing or something to another unrelated field. But hell, give me De Niro for the summer, I'll take him.
